Skate Night!

Posted by Jamon Abercrombie on Sep 6, 2008 in Family Photos, That's Not Right

Well, Jordan and Taylor had never been on skates before, and Jen and I hadn’t had roller blades on since college (almost 10 years), so this was an interesting night! It was a night that started and finished with injury.

Jordan did pretty good, even going backwards once … Taylor looked like a newborn giraffe.

From Jordan kicking Taylor in the eye with his skate to me tripping over Taylor and having my lower leg bend in a way that is not natural … it was a fun evening.

There is no way we could compete for a roller championship with ATL (you know, the movie - Atlanta - skate rink - just watch this).

Play Ball! (week 4 … or 6)

Posted by Jamon Abercrombie on Aug 29, 2008 in Family Photos

It’s actually week 6 of Tball. We were out for two of those weeks. The boys were in Kansas City for one week and then in Springfield and Arkansas for the next.

This was the final night.

Play Ball! (week 3)

Posted by Jamon Abercrombie on Aug 18, 2008 in Family Photos

We had a few weeks in there where we missed. Boys were in Kansas City one week, then Springfield and Arkansas the next. I think we ended up only missing two, plus there was one week rained out and added to the end of the “season.”

They are actually starting to form more like an actual team and positions, etc … kind of …
I also had some weirdness going on with the camera either during filming or transferring to the computer to edit. They just look like they’re going about 105% speed - just a little faster than normal :)

Branson 2008 (video)

Posted by Jamon Abercrombie on Aug 6, 2008 in Vacation 2008

Our recent trip to Branson included an evening at Celebration City with the boys, my parents and sister (and new male friend, Jesse). IT WAS HOT and HUMID!!!! We also ran into the Arkansas political family that has 18 kids … I hear they have a TV show, but there were no cameras on this day.

Taylor also decided that he wanted to ride the big water ride … one of the first rides … that got us totally soaked. Dad weasled his way out of riding at the last minute with some lame excuse! :) We sat in front and got drenched!!!

Anyway, here’s a little video recap (minus the water ride):
