Saw a quote today …

Voting for Obama is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders

In his own words …

Posted by Jamon Abercrombie on Oct 22, 2008 in Decision 2008

If you haven’t done it already, you’d better get to researching your candidates a little deeper than party line, skin color or drive-by has-been media conglomerates … you’ve only got 13 days left.

Look at their actual body of work and the issues they support or reject. Take a look at transcripts of what they’ve said or done and see which candidate is more above reproach.

Or, how about take a look at what one candidate wrote in his own books (to make a profit):

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa , that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.’

And the most disturbing of them all:

From Audacity of Hope: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’

Citizen who? where?

Posted by Jamon Abercrombie on Oct 13, 2008 in Decision 2008

This is something that has been wandering around in my mind since late last year. I really think the crafters of the U.S. Constitution were very explicit and intentional when they set the ground rules for those who can become President of the United States.

Here is an interview with Phil J. Berg (note - he’s a Democrat … not some wako Republican conspiracy theorist). Mr. Berg is currently involved in a lawsuit against Barry challenging Barry to produce the proper documents to prove Barry is a natural-born citizen as required by our Constitution.

The A.S.S. of the world

Posted by Jamon Abercrombie on Oct 13, 2008 in Decision 2008

WAKE UP PEOPLE! Quit buying into the lies that a bigger government can solve your problems. Quit fawning over elected officials as if they are our supreme commanders. The office of the President does not hold supreme commandership in this country. That is not how our constitution was founded … it’s the constitution that holds final authority and governance. Our elected officials simply interpret, enact and enforce that which the United States Constitution already states.

I cannot sit by and be supportive of any candidate who’s values, beliefs and views on the role of government do not align with my own; when their views are blatantly contradictory to themselves; when they enact legislation to force the business sector to adhere to unsavory standards and practices that in-turn cause crisis and downfall, then turn around and blame someone else for letting it happen; it cannot go on without notice.

This IS the party of Barack Hussein Obama … a.k.a. the so-called political “Messiah” who will turn the United States of America into the American Socialist States. When that happens, America will then truly be the A.S.S. of the world!

People aren’t flippantly throwing around the word “socialist” or “socialism” in reference to Obama’s regime … oh, and that’s what it would be - a regime … Obama has laid out plans and policies that specifically line-up with those of socialism. Obama continually talks about “fair” like it’s an unalienable right that we have as Americans … for life to be fair, for economics to be fair, for housing to be fair, for job opportunities to be fair … like everybody’s on the same playing field. Well, the only way for that to happen is to have a single controlling entity (a.k.a. government) that then controls the distribution of wealth - well, just about the distribution of everything to make sure that every citizen is on the same playing field.

I’m not having it. That is not what this country was founded on. That is not what the U.S. Constitution states or implies. That is not what made this country the hands-down greatest country on earth (oh, and in only 232 years - short in comparison to the history of the governized world). Opportunity is the cornerstone of the “American Dream.” The American Dream is accomplished solely through free market economics which is rooted in capitalism … the arch nemesis of Marxist socialists.

If you are unfamiliar with socialism, I urge you to learn about it. That’s where the real class warfare is prevalent (ever heard Obama - or Dems - spout off about economic classes?). It’s not just a word thrown around as scare tactics or political angling - it’s real, and it’s not the answer to overcoming any issue. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly. When you hear “nationalized” or “nationalism” in relation to government or controlled programs … this refers to socialist viewpoints that have NO business within the governance of the United States of America.

Here is a decent place to start learning more about socialism … though, if you’re a liberal you’ve already been brainwashed past the point of rational thought and decision-making …

Forget the hype - learn the facts. Knowing is half the battle.
