In the hills and hollars of Branson …

we saw this sign

now, it’s probably not pronounced the way i’m pronouncing it in my head, but change that second ‘O’ to an ‘E’ and let the hillarity ensue!

Actually it’s pronounced like ‘Wrote-in’. You know, like ‘He’s was a good scribbler. He’s wrotein a bunch of good books!’ Just making fun- I live in Branson, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Well I can name two similar instances. In two small towns in southwest Iowa there is a family owned drug store called Stoner Drug. Some Things u just cane make up. In their defense they are really nice people. Off Shawnee Mission parkway there is a store called Nigros Western Store. Again this is a good instance of a great store but bad name all based on a persons last name. Some times you just wonder what people are thinking when they name their business.
